The Window Background Color field selects the default color for the window background. The Mac OS Window Manager uses this color to erase the window. Clicking within the rectangle brings up a dialog box that lets you choose a background color.

The Size Boxes Intrude checkbox determines whether the size box should appear within the corner of the actual window. If the size boxes intrude, any Abstract Window Toolkit components that would normally appear under the size box are not drawn. If you do not check this box, an extra strip of empty space is added to the bottom of the window to accomodate the size box.
